Our reunion is planned for
October 3-4, 2008 in Corpus Christi, Texas. SAVE THE DATE!! On Friday, October 3, 2008, we are hosting a tailgate party before Carroll’s Homecoming game. The party will be from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m at Bottomless Pit Bar-b-que located next door to Buc Stadium at 2815 Leopard. Kickoff for Carroll vs. San Antonio East Central is 7:30 p.m. We are in the process of meeting with CCISD athletic dept. to purchase reserved seating at Buc Stadium and have our class recognized at halftime. The plan is to walk over as a group and watch the game together. For those of you who wish to leave the game after halftime, we’re planning the continuation of our party at Brewster Street Ice House located near the new Whataburger baseball field at 1724 N. Tancahua. Brewster’s has great music and a cash bar.
On Saturday, October 4, 2008, from 7:00 p.m. to midnight, a dance with DJ will be held at the Ortiz Center located on the Port of Corpus Christi at 402 Harbor. Hors d’oeuvres are included and a cash bar will be available. Parr Photography will also be present for photos and you can purchase a reunion photo booklet. (Optional).
Registration is $75.00 per person for both events. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO ARE SENDING RESERVATIONS TO US...KEEP THEM COMING!! If you plan to attend the Saturday night event only, the price is $50.00 per person. It is next to impossible to plan for walk-ins so we encourage you to register early and avoid higher prices at the door. Print and complete the "Class member questionnaire" on this website and mail with your check to MCHS 1978 Reunion c/o Alma A. Irr, 5322 Yarwell Dr., Houston, Texas 77096. If you cannot attend reunion, we would still like your information and will be happy to send you a copy of the booklet for $5.00 AFTER the reunion date. You can also send and post messages on the BLOG located on this front page of website.
